My Story
I'm very excited to join Oak Grove as Instructional Support staff this year.
I have lived in Brattleboro for 20 years, and my children Rei and Senji both attended Oak Grove. My family is grateful for the wonderful community of educators here, who gave our kids an amazing start to their lifelong learning journey.
I received my Master of Arts in Teaching from the School for International Training in 1997 and have worked in education for over two decades in several capacities including ELL teacher, French teacher, curriculum designer, teacher trainer, and textbook author/editor. After receiving my certificate in Social Emotional Learning Instruction in 2020, I felt inspired to return to working in a school setting and helping to support teachers and students.
In my free time, I enjoy running, watching my kids play music and sports, and writing children's books.
Oak Grove School is a kind and welcoming place where everyone, including the staff, is always learning, growing, and improving. I am honored to be a part of the awesome Oak Grove team!
