Dear Parents and Families,
Our students are having a great week, especially as this cold has passed and they are able to enjoy some of the winter snow. In the next few weeks the student council will host our Variety Show and shortly thereafter the FROGS will host our school dance. There is much to look forward to!
On a different note, I would like to express my appreciation for the staff members and parents of our students. The Brattleboro community experienced a tragedy this week that impacted many of us in different, difficult ways. The reaction of our educators has been to focus on the positive and to be a support for our students and for one another. The work we do has many rewards and the positive impact we have on the lives of children is the greatest of these rewards. We have also heard from many parents in our community offering their support and well wishes as we work through difficult times together. I am humbled by the love and care our school community has received this week. Thank you.
Have a lovely, long weekend.

Welcome back! We are so happy to have our students back in the building, after what turned out to be an extended vacation. I hope the vacation was an enjoyable and relaxing one for all of our families.
This week we started our Winter Sports program in grades 4-6 with K-3 starting in just a few short weeks. With the cold temperatures we have had all of our students skating, but we hope to get out the skis and sleds next week. If you are interested in volunteering and helping out with Winter Sports we could always use an extra pair of hands on Tuesday afternoons.
Have a terrific week and stay warm!
