Winter Sports Update

Dear Parents and Families,

Believe it or not, we are getting ready for Winter Sports! This year is a transition year for us. Christine Hazard is continuing as our parent coordinator (and doing a fabulous job per usual!), but she is ready to turn over the reins. We are looking for a parent to learn work with Christine and Sue Strong this year with the intention of taking over our Winter Sports program next year. Any takers? We are also in need of a new coordinator for the Mt. Snow part of our program. Please let Sue know if you are interested. On another note, if you are a family that celebrates Halloween, please have a safe and happy evening!

Take care,

Jen Hemmingson

Coffee Break

Reminder that Jen Hemmingson plans to meet with parents on Wednesday, October 31st, before School Sing at 8:00 am in the parent room for coffee and good conversation. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

Welcome to Oak Grove School

Welcome to Oak Grove School!  As Principal I am honored to get to be the
one to introduce you to our amazing school community.  Our school
community includes all of the staff members, students, families and
supportive community members that contribute to making this school such an
important part of our Brattleboro community.

As educators, we strive to provide a rich education to all of our
students, one that is academically rigorous, well-rounded with arts and
opportunities for different types of learning and helps each child to grow
as individuals.  We see ourselves as part of a team of people working
together to help children become strong, healthy individuals.

Best wishes for another terrific school year!
Jen Hemmingson, Principal
